Three interactive pieces for Ny Musikk
| Previous project Work archive Next project |
Ny Musikk (the Norwegian section of the ISCM) asked us to do a series of pieces dealing with audio & interaction for their homepage. We worked with Axel Ebert to develop three pieces. Piece 1 allows the user to travel through a soundfield made of short samples of gradually varying sinewaves. Piece 2 lets the user slide and skip back and forth through a sample of a speaker's voice by adjusting a graph. Piece 3 applies the concept of granular synthesis to Flash, morphing a family conversation into an abstract soundscape. All pieces are designed to be visually minimalist in order to let the audio be interpreted as freely as possible.
